The Modern West's Destruction

All great civilizations meet their end. Its the cycle of history. Societies rise, exist, degrade and eventually fall into chaos and disarray to eventually be replaced by a new order. Western civilization is a unique case. After centuries of various wars and violence which in turn resulted in arts and culture flourishing, we now see ourselves in a time of spectacular wealth and prosperity.

These good times have softened modern people, who've never experienced a war, a famine or a major cataclysm in their lives. They live in highly developed welfare states with advanced medicines and healthcare to prevent them from feeling the slightest instance of discomfort. This is our doom.

Through decadence and hedonism, a society degrades morally and socially to the point where people lack any discernable form of direction or meaning in their lives. Without this crucial element to one's existence, they become lost and quickly infuriated. The only exit for these emotions is total disobedience and disregard for civility. This murders society as a whole.

The changing relations and environments nowadays as well as the corruption and exploitation seen at all ranks and every aspect of society indicate one certainty: the West is in its downfall.

"The West has Fallen"

Many groups online have been saying for years that Western civilization is in its collapse. They make funny jokes and memes out of it, but once the day finally comes they won't be laughing.

Other people, trying to remain positive have only emphasize that everything in the world is okay and the future looks bright. Optimism often neglects reality, and through this only accelerates negativity.

The discussion about total civilizational collapse shouldn't be taken as some fringe conspiracy theory or hoax. We are living through the very gradual degradation of society each day, and if this issue is not addressed the end result will only be worse.

The Life of a Civilization

Civilizations are the complex systems and ways humans manage and interact with each other. They are the nations, the languages and the cultures of related peoples sharing values and beliefs transcending centuries. If humanity was a neighborhood, civilizations would be the families living in the homes, all with unique ways of doing things and histories.

Like a family, civilizations begin small, grow, have offspring and eventually decay. For instance, Rome began as a small city-state in Italy, conquered and spread its customs across the Mediterranean and was eaten up by barbarian groups, who modeled its culture and language.

The Western world has been the most advanced and successful civilization in history, largely from Christianity's influence on culture and exploration that allowed the nations belonging to this society to conquer and civilize the world. Those days of glory however have ended and the West has accepted the necessity of global cooperation rather than subjugation.

Interconnectivity between nations allows for trade and interaction and results in abundance in more developed countries and deprivation in less developed countries. This creates two different worlds in which one thrives and the other suffers. When a people are thriving, they become more emotional but less aware of primal instinct. They see no necessity in defending themselves as they live in a world of plenty. When a people are suffering, they are less emotional but are more instinctual. They see every necessity in protecting themselves as they need to keep the little amount of things they have.

This is the West's downfall. We have become too weak and greedy to survive for much longer. We can't cooperate anymore as our personal biases and negligence to accept other opinions make us incapable of unity. We undermine and manipulate others for personal gain. A society of thieves and conspirators can never exist on its own.

In what ways are we in collapse?

It is amazing how blind Western people have become. They are so fed with lies that they cannot discern for themselves that the world is so incredibly dysfunctional at the moment. Or they know it is, and they consciously reject it.

There are six main aspects that will be addressed that are indications that the West is in decline. These are that of politics, the environment, culture and media, international relations and general attitudes.

Western democracies are so immensely and irreconcilably polarized along party lines currently. The Republicans and Democrats of America are virtually in a political war right now that with one staged attack could easily erupt into an actual civil war. In other parts of the world, conservative and liberal groups are constantly plotting and conniving against each other, accusing and condemning the other for their own problems. Autocratic governments in the Eastern world are among the most stable right now, as democracies are barely managing to stay together.

Environmentally, climate change and global warming is gripping the world. In several decades or even years the intensity of weather patterns could cause entire regions of the world to have inconceivable famines and droughts. Entire cities and countries could be swallowed by the oceans. For humans specifically, birth rates are sharply declining. Infertility is exploding in men as toxic chemicals and byproducts poison food and water. Man has achieved the powers of God, and thus we will be punished by higher power for our usurpation.

Western society has embraced immorality as moral. Self-righteous women, abusing their relatively new rights game and manipulate institutions and jobs. A hypersexualized and sexual deviant culture has converted former Western modesty to complete promiscuity. Violence has skyrocketed in developed cities as illegal immigrants, granted amnesty by Western nations invade and take jobs from citizen workforces. In some countries, the dominant language will in several decades be totally replaced with foreign tongues. Men have become autistic as a system of discrimination has condemned and beaten out masculine traits from them to make them more easy to control.

Across the world, the Western world views itself as the "good guys." For the last 20 years, neoliberal democracies have invaded and enforced their values on conservative nations in the name of counterterrorism. They've condemned autocracy, when debatably they are as or even more corrupt as even the worst dictatorships. The United Nations is a complete joke, and organizations such as the World Economic Forum and World Health Organization attempt to violate the existence of national sovereignty to implement global population control. Western militaries have been compromised by leftist agendas which have resulted in the few true men refusing to enlist.

People across the world live each day with no purpose. Depression and suicide rates have catapulted in recent years, as adherence to religion or a moral belief system has plunged in favor of atheism. People feel cheated out of a life they wanted to live, and use the world's superficiality to distract them. They were pressured getting a college degree which bankrupted them in debt and then they got married but their spouse eventually divorced them. They work a terrible job with little exception for freedom. Then they retire and die alone, accomplishing nothing in life.

Each of these reasons, notably social disatisfaction and overabundance and environmental changes results in major civilizational catastrophes.This explanation may seem massively negative, however this is the dire reality we face.

Is it too late?

The West is in a precarious position right now. The future looks ever more uncertain with so many different factors and events changing the world at the moment. Despite the challenges that seem to keep appearing, it is important to stay positive but also knowledgeable and prepared.

Those who are aware of the warning signs should be ready to do whatever it takes to survive. You may tell other people, but because of the world we live in now they probably won't believe you. Be vigilant and aware of your situation and what things you must do to allow yourself to make it out of whatever happens.

Don't become depressed and give up either. Have faith in yourself and maybe try to find a religion or belief system to follow. Faithfulness and trust in higher power will elevate you and give you direction and meaning. Those without duty or virtues to stand by will be the first to fall in the hard times.

Try not to obsess over the issue at hand either. This will only just make you more anxious and weary of each major event that happens in the world, spiraling yourself in a negative hole that you won't be able to escape from. We can't predict the future, and relying on moronic signs and omens will only delude you. Remain clear and logical and look at the facts only.

Anything can happen. It could be three years from now, tomorrow, today or we're living through it now. Just know that there are some pretty big problems in the world that will only evolve into bigger one's if not addressed properly. What goes up, always comes down and hopefully this was a wake up call.
